The On-Device AI & Nutrition Release
Published October 20261. Gustivela AI — 100% Offline Culinary Assistant
On-device artificial intelligence that respects your privacy
Gustivela now includes a built-in assistant designed to help you cook with confidence and discover delicious meals from whatever you have in your pantry.
Tell the assistant what ingredients are in your fridge (e.g. “I have chicken, spinach, and garlic”) and get instant recipe suggestions matching your ingredients.
Runs entirely on your phone's processor. Your messages, search queries, and custom recipes are never transmitted to any external server or third party.
Ask about cooking techniques, ingredient substitutions, timer usage, and app features. The assistant gives clear, helpful answers in seconds.
Conversations are kept strictly in active memory while the app is open (at most the last 40 messages) and vanish completely when closed.
2. USDA-Calibrated Nutrition Facts Per Serving
Accurate macronutrient profiles computed from USDA FoodData Central
Every single recipe in the catalog now includes precise nutritional data calculated per serving:
3. 14 EU Mandatory Allergens & 12 Objective Tags
Clear health declarations for dietary requirements
We audited all 174 recipes against the European Union's 14 mandatory allergen declarations (gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, peanuts, fish, crustaceans, soybeans, celery, mustard, sesame, sulphites, lupin, and molluscs).
Additionally, recipes now feature 12 deterministic tags computed from exact nutrient metrics (e.g. High Protein, Under 500 kcal, Quick Under 30 Min, Naturally Gluten-Free, Naturally Lactose-Free, and No Added Sugar).
4. Full Translation Parity across 23 Languages
Culinary heritage made accessible worldwide
All categories, diets, cuisines, cooking methods, allergens, and tags are fully localized across 23 languages without missing keys or machine degradation.
