- All-purpose wheat flour250 g
- Fresh egg yolks3 pc
- Sour cream60 g
- Powdered sugar in dough30 g
- Quality rum extract1 tsp
- Freshly grated lemon zest1 tsp
- Sunflower oil for frying150 ml
- Vanilla powdered sugar for heavy dusting50 g
- Pinch of fine salt2 g
Preparation Steps

Knead flour, egg yolks, sour cream, powdered sugar, rum extract, lemon zest, and salt into a smooth, firm pastry dough. Rest covered for 10 minutes.

Roll dough out very thin (1-2 mm). Cut into rectangles with a fluted pastry wheel, make a slit in the center of each, and pull one end through the slit to form the signature twisted bow tie shape.

Flash-fry minciunele in hot oil for 30-40 seconds per side until puffed, crisp, and golden. Drain on paper towels and dust generously with vanilla powdered sugar while warm.
